RNAse A (25 mg)

RNase A is a preparation of bovine pancreatic ribonuclease suitable for use in selective removal of RNA. An essentially protease free, freeze dried powder with an activity of not less than 70 U/mg material

Option 1

RNAse A 10 mg/ml:

Dissolve the RNase A at a final concentration of 10 mg/ml in sterile water. Boil the RNase A solution at 95°C for 15’ to remove any residual nuclease activity. Aliquot solution as appropriate (thawing and re-freezing should be avoided)

Option 2:

RNase A 10 mg/ml

Dissolve 100 mg RNase A in 10 ml of 10 mM Tris 15 mM NaCl. Boil for 15 min and allow cooling slowly to room temperature. Distribute 1 ml aliquote into 1.5 ml tube, and store at -20 C (thawing and re-freezing should be avoided)
